Dr. Asif.E.

Dr. Asif.E completed his B.A.L, LL.B from Kerala Law Academy in 2009 and his LL.M in Public Law and Intellectual Property Rights from Department of Law, University of Kerala in 2011. He qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) and secured Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Law in 2011. He secured his Doctoral Degree (Ph.D) in Law from University of Kerala in the area of Intellectual Property Rights; his thesis titled “Exclusion of Diagnostic, Therapeutic and Surgical Methods from Patentability- An Analysis". He has taught in various institutions of repute including Aligarh Muslim University, M.S Ramaiah College of Law, Bangalore and School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore. He also has relevant industrial experience having been employed as a Senior Legal Officer at HDFC Ltd. He has presented Research papers in several International and National Seminars/ Workshops and also published articles in Journals of repute. He has attended many International and National Seminars, Conferences, Faculty Development Programmes and Quality Improvement Programmes. He has successfully completed Continuing Legal Education Courses for Law Teachers on "Law Teaching, Legal Research and Future of Legal Education" and "Teaching ADR Skills and Ethics for Better Legal Services" conducted by the International Bar Association (IBA) Chair on Legal Education, National Law School of India University, Bangalore in association with Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy Training (MILAT), Thiruvananthapuram. He has successfully completed a Government of India-sponsored Training programme on Cyber Security & Cyber Law conducted by Institute of Management in Government, Thiruvananthapuram and also holds a Diploma in Computerised Office Management.
