Research Work

1.  The National Commission for Women (NCW) had approved a Research Project Study titled  ‘Protection Officers under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005: How far they are successful in providing solace to the Victims’  (With Reference to State of Kerala), as per F.N. 16(891)/ 2014-2015/NCW(R&SC) dated 20/10/2015 to the Centre for Women and Family Studies (CWFS), NUALS. The Project Study had commenced on 26^th of October 2015, the date of receipt of the Sanction Order from National Commission for Women.

The Project study is funded by National Commission for Women for Rs.2, 05,800/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Five Thousand Eight Hundred Only) for six months commencing from 26^th of October, 2015 to 26^th of April, 2016. 

The Centre has submitted the Project study Report in May,2016 and after perusing the same, NCW invited the Project co-ordinator to make a Power Point Presentation of the Research Study Report on 04-01-2017.The Research Associate of the Centre has presented the Projected Study Report before the National Commission for Women (NCW) and the Centre has submitted the Final Project Report in the month of January,2017
