ACTIVITIES - Moot Court - Achievements

NUALS team comprising of Mr. Karthik V. Venkatesh, Mr. Akshay Dinesh Shah and Ms. Ankita P. Rajesh won the Runner-up Prize at the 4th International Banking and Investment Law Moot Court Competition 2015 held at the Seedling School of Law and Governance, Jaipur National University from October 9 – 11, 2015.

Mr. Allen E. Baiju was adjudged as the Winner of the Judgment Writing Competition which was held as part of the “Nyayavalokan – 2015 – The 6th National Trial Advocacy and Judgment Writing Competition held at S.V.K.M’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai from October 1-4, 2015.

NUALS team comprising of Mr. Pranay Prakash, Mr. Nishant Bhatia, Mr. Rohit Sharma and Mr. Lalit Khatri won the ‘Best Memorial Prize’ at the India West Rounds of the Surana & Surana National Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition held at New Law College, Bhrati Vidyapeeth University, Pune from September 18 – 20, 2015.
Mr. Pranay Prakash won the ‘Best Student Advocate Award’ at the Surana & Surana National Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition held at New Law College, Bhrati Vidyapeeth University, Pune from September 18 – 20, 2015.
NUALS team consisting of Ms. J. Mandakini (X Semester) (Speaker), Ms. Reshma Sekhar (X Semester) (Speaker) and Ms. Kavya Pankaj (X Semester) (Researcher) has won the 5th NLIU - Justice R.K. Tankha Memorial National Moot Court Competition which was held at the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal from February 20 -22, 2015.
NUALS team consisting of Mr. Abhijith B. (X Semester) (Speaker), Ms. Soujanya G.L. (VI Semester) (Speaker), Ms. Aditi Agarwal (VI Semester) (Researcher), Ms. Sindhu Sambrani (VI Semester) (Researcher) has been adjudged as the Runner-up team at the UPES National Trial Advocacy Competition 2015. The competition was held at the School of Legal Studies, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun from February 18 - 21, 2015.
NUALS team consisting of Mr. Navaneeth Krishan ( Speaker) (X Semester), Ms. Drishya J. Moses (Speaker) (VI Semester) and Ms. Varada B. (Researcher) (VI Semester) has won the Dr. Annasaheb G.D. Bendale Memorial 10th National Moot Court Competition which was held at the S.S. Maniyar Law College, Jalgaon, Maharashtra on 14th & 15th February 2015.
A team which represented the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) at the National Trial Advocacy and Moot Court Competition 2014 was adjudged as the Second Best Team of the Competition. Mr. Jeevan Rajeev, Ms. Reshma Suresh & Ms. Harima Hariharan were the members of the NUALS Team. Have won The Trophies instituted by Prof.Ramakrishnan Trophy, Adv.Vadakkot Bhaskara Menon Memmorial Trophy, & A.M Yousuf Trophy. The Competition was organised by Govt. Law College, Thrissur, from 26th to 28th September 2014.
Ms. Mary Kavita Dominic won the 'Best Counsel Prize' at the 4th Amity International Moot Court Competition 2014. The Competition was held at the Amity Law School, Noida from 8th to 10th October 2014.
A team representing the NUALS comprising of Ms. Athisya Kumar, Ms. Namrata Keshava and Mr. Reddy Pawan Kumar has won the IMS Unison University 2nd National Moot Court Competition 2014 . The Competition was held at School of law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun from 10th to 11th October 2014.
A team representing the NUALS comprising of Mr. Akhil V. Menon, Ms. Anakha K. Vijay and Mr. Siddharth Bhati has won the 6th RLC Saquib Riazi Memorial National Moot Court Competition2014. The competition was held at Rizvi Law College, Mumbai from 26th to 28th September 2014.
A team representing the NUALS comprising of Mr. Jeevan Rajeev, Ms. Harima Hariharan and Ms. Reshma Suresh has been adjudged as the Second Best Team at the 3rd National Trial Advocacy and Moot Court Competition for the Justice Ramachandra Menon Memorial Ever Rolling Trophy. The competition was held at Government Law College, Thrissur from 26th to 28th September 2014.
Runners-up at the Third All India Corporate Law Moot Court Competition 2012 jointly organised by National Law University (NLU), Delhi and UKCA Law Chambers. The Competition was held at Symbiosis Law School, Pune from 18-20 February 2011.
Ms. Ajitha P. was adjudged as the 10th Best Speaker at the International Rounds of the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition held at University of Maryland School of Law, Baltimore from 17 – 20 March 2011.
